Here at Bello Horizonte Decoracion, this is a very exciting time for us. Twice a year, in spring and autumn, we have a complete stock change. That means there are lots of new pieces of furniture, as well as decorative items to add the finishing touches to your rooms, and make your house into a beautiful, happy home.

Also, we’re expecting our Christmas stocks to arrive in early November. It’s been a strange year for everyone, and we’ve noticed people’s shopping habits have changed, due to the restrictions imposed as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak. Because they’ve been spending more time at home, as a result of lockdown and the need to work from home if possible, many of our local residents have decided it’s time to revamp their homes and gardens with new furniture, rugs and other items for a fresh new look.

Summer is usually a time when tourists come and buy unusual souvenirs to take back home, but this year, there haven’t been many tourists around. We really appreciate how the locals have supported local businesses through this difficult time, and we’ve noticed that everyone – ourselves included – is more aware of the transience of life, and the need to appreciate what we have, and be grateful for good health, good friends, and loving families.

Christmas is going to be very different to normal, with more people choosing to stay at home for various reasons. So the emphasis is on making your living space extra special, with beautiful decorative items to give your home a festive look, and maybe a few new, special pieces to give your home – and your spirits – a lift.

With this in mind, we have some stunning pieces of decorative glassware in stock, in a variety of shapes and sizes. They are very versatile, and can be used all year round. Dress them with red candles, small evergreen branches and fir cones for Christmas, then try our beautiful flower shaped candles to ring the changes during the year. Artificial flowers and grasses would also look really good in these  beautiful items. They would make great table centre pieces too.

We also have some beautifully crafted puppets in stock. They are bright and colourful, and some of them would make good Hallowe’en decorations. Then store them carefully until Christmas, and stage your own puppet show. These puppets are definitely not just for children. They make a quirky addition to any home, and are decorative and practical. Come and let us introduce you to them!

At Christmas, there’s a lot of focus around the table, for obvious reasons. So why not think about something to make your dining table extra special, like some new plates or glasses? Or spoil yourself and take a look at our beautiful dining tables and chairs. Whatever your taste, we’re sure to have something to suit your personality and the ambience of your home.
